A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Atta-Girl! Aqua. You've earned the title of Musical Conductor once again.
Sounds like you even managed to get Louie to howl on key up there in the tenor section.
Oh, Oh. Looks like someone in the orchestra is about to wake up Mama Bear...

I just had to see what was behind those red x's. :)
You're welcome.

Hi Dave. The banner of the singing Bassett hounds is so cute!
The picture of the penguins and bear is just remarkable, where do you find such pic's?
To: Aquamarine
google is my friend :) I just keep clickin' til I find one I like or seems to fit the occasion.
Speaking of google, I've been searching for a song we sang in a Christmas musical a few years ago, "I Have Seen the Light," but I can't seem to locate site with and audio file. Beautiful song and message. We've practically worn out our tape.

Actually, I finished John's essay earlier. A while ago, I went to the apartment manager's office for a bit of "spirited discussion" - LOL.
It didn't take us long after moving here to be on a first-name basis.

"I Have Seen the Light," but I can't seem to locate site with and audio file.It must be an unusual song. Just looked in two of my main sources and didn't see it.
To: dansangel
Actually, I finished John's essay earlier. That was quick. I had a glimpse of it this morning but didn't have enough time to read it through. Guess I'll just wait and read it tomorrow along with your presentation.
We lived in an apartment many years ago and there are lots of bad memories. In some ways it's a simpler way to live but you have to be laid back with the neighbors or go absolutely nuts.
To: Aquamarine
but you have to be laid back with the neighbors or go absolutely nuts. It's hard to be laid back when you are the oldest tenants in the building and everyone else is into partying. So, we are, in fact, going nuts.
There is an opening in another building where there are fewer units (4 - two up and two down) and older people (I've been observing - they are not allowed to tell you that). Now we have to decide if it's worth making all of the address changes, etc.

Yes, he's adorable. Can't wait to see how cute Ms Beasley is and what kind of reaction Barney has to her. :)
To: Aquamarine

Thank you so much for the beautiful thread and music, Aquamarine! It's cold in Texas..I had to wear a jacket!..Only going to get to the 50s today but the sun is brilliant...(More brilliant because I had an eye exam today and spent the children's inheritance on my first pair of prescription glasses!)
