Washington, DC, -- Sen. Hillary Clinton's hard-line against illegal immigration is seen by some as the Democrat's attempt to solidify support for a 2008 presidential bid.
Clinton, D-N.Y., who has received the liberal moniker for her efforts as first lady in the 1990s, may be trying to win support in conservative states by coming out against illegal immigration, the Washington Times reported Monday. In fact, the paper reported, Clinton's stance is more conservative than President Bush's, calling for an entry and exit ID system for immigrants.

Just about nobody except Tom Tancredo is with 75-80% of the population on this one. If the Dems had actually represented what people wanted, and supported our cultural and national integrity, they would've been running things now.
Bottom line, disgusting as it is...if Hillary is the only one who is actually going to support the will of the nation, then she should win!
Dude why are you dragging Lady Thatcher's nickname(Iron Lady) through the mud by comparing her to scag hillary.
Don't throw those flip-flops away, folks. Looks like we might need them in 2008!!

Whew what are you smokin?
I guess you all one issuers forgot about gay marriage and taxes in a months time.
Get back to me when hillary is front and center in a Christian parade.
That day would be probably colder than her bosom, IMO.
"If she can convince me she is sincere, she could get my vote
Looks like she already has. Would you like to buy the Brooklyn Bridge?
No she has not convinved me since the Clinton's and the Democrat parties are the most insincere of people. It would take a lot to convince me.
I'm saying that the politicians should be representing what the people want.
If Hillary "gets it" and the rest of the clowns (Dems and Reps alike) keep ignoring the fact that the majority of US citizens want to save the nation, the issue is hers.
I've written all along that illegals are the 100-ton gorilla that would've won the election for anyone who wanted it. John Kerry just didn't want it.

Uh hillary does "get it", she preys on people like you, who actually beleive what she is saying(remember 92 when the clintons said "middle class tax cut, ending welfare as we know it, being tough on China).
Hey, you can believe her all you want, I don't by her previous political hsitory.
And .. while she's proclaiming undying faith to stamping out illegal immigration .. all her dem minions in Congress will be all over the TV disparaging the Bush admin for being mean to minorities.
Hillary "gets" nothing except gullible people like you.
Bush is working on a plan, something which no president has dared to do for years. Write to the WH and send some (rational) input.
Hillary's husband simply opened the flood gates, and regardless of what bait Hillary is throwing out now, so will she. I think she'll particularly want to admit lots more Muslim immigrants. Give me Mexicans any day - but regulate them.
I don't believe she agrees with the majority on illegal immigration. What I'm saying is that I've so had it with being represented by no one, either party, that maybe, just maybe, it would be a good lesson for all politicians to see people getting support for caring about our issues.
Corporate American gets elected by conservatives, but when they have power, it's all about cheap (and government subsidized) labor.
What I'd really like is Tom Tancredo making a run for Pres, starting early, on this issue.
...yeah, coddling 3 million illegals for a free pass to citizenry. Bush seems more like Vicente Fox's golf caddy...give me the 9 iron George - and oh yeah, here are a few more million downtrodden for you to take care of!
What? She had an orchiectomy?
How the hell did Colin Ferrell ever get to become a star? I just looked up one day and he was starring in movies.
Time to retire dude.
"In fact, the paper reported, Clinton's stance is more conservative than President Bush's"
That wouldn't be too difficult.
Tancredo went back on his word. He signed a pledge to observe term limits. He reneged on his word.
Furthermore, he hired an illegal alien to do his driveway. When he was caught, he came up with the same excuse of corporate America. "See, we didn't know. We hired a contractor." Of course, if he had bothered to hire a company who actually pays high wages, he wouldn't have bothered with a cheap outfit using illegal aliens.
Similarly, he raised money for an illegal alien to appease the local press, after getting painted as mean-spirited by wanting to deport a brilliant college student identified as an illegal alien by the local press.
Tancredo is a demagogue, IMHO.
Well, I found one.
You actually think Hillary believes any of this? The point is, Hillary has identified this as a promising wedge issue for 2008. The GOP can decide whether they are going to take this issue away from her ... or risk alientating their base, and in the triggering the formation of a third party that could hand Hillary a plurality in 2008.
Think about that one and get back to me.
