Has this freak cut back on his anti-oxidants or something? It was the Republicans that pushed through the the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The Demoncrats didn't support it, so why would the DNC deliver on its promise? I could be mistaken, but I believe NO Southern Democrat senator voted for the Civil Rights Act. If it wasn't "none" then it was real close to none!

Seeing this stooge blather on tv as a CNN "analyst", it's hard to believe that he was was once a conservative.
You know, I've always wondered what would have happened if JFK hadn't been assassinated and JFK ran against Goldwater instead of LBJ. Would Goldwater have won, or at least lost less convincingly? Discuss.

This is a very low country South Carolina accent that is found between Orangeburg County to Charleston and along the southern coast of SC to Savannah. It is called "Geechie", but not sure of the spelling. It's influence is the Gullah language -- you can google Gullah and read up on these people. The Gullah people, btw, on the barrier islands of SC are trying to secede from the US.
Hollings' accent is very indigenous to a small area in SC. What comes out of his mouth is infinitely more embarrassing to South Carolinians than his accent.
