GOD THE FATHER... and liberal view for home abuse and violence against women.

(...) GOD THE FATHER...

But some experts believe any male-dominated religion, in which God and his prophets or apostols are male figures, creates conditions for the subordination and abuse of women.

Predominantly Catholic Poland, although free from "honour killings", has a problem with violence against women, rooted in the strong influence of the Catholic church on public life, Polish minister for gender equality Magdalena Sroda said.

"Catholicism does not directly support or oppose violence against women. But there are indirect links through culture which is strongly based on religion," Sroda told Reuters.

"It is a structure based on patriarchal domination of God the Father and the less important role of woment can be seen for example in the letters of Saint Paul," she said.

Asma Jahangir, U.N. Special Rapporteur on religious freedom, said many courts condoned patriarchial violence by letting the perpetrators get away with "a slap on the wrist".

"In 405 documented cases of honour killings in Afghanistan so far this year only 20 arrests were made," she said.

Zorayha Rahim Sobrany, deputy minister for Women's Affairs in Afghanistan, said the concept of women's equality to men was slow to take root, but that progress was being made.

"We need time. We must move step by step. If you go too fast, the reaction is that people close themselves," she said.

Marriage signifies the union between Christ and the Church. I believe this alone would directly oppose the abuse of women. I know there must be more examples, just dont have a bible handy to look them up.

When the wine ran out at the wedding, the hosts went to Mary first. She then told them to "ask my son".

Did Poland reach its nadir under Communist domination, or when it appointed a "Minister for Gender Equality"? O, ne Zot, the Polish jokes I could make from this ...

Someone is looking for an excuse to blame religion for society's ills.

Sinead O'Connor did it, it help her notariety too.

The Goal of the Feminist is to have the acceptance of Married Priests, then the acceptance of Female Priests and of course the Ultimate goal is the acceptance of Homosexuals. Why this facination with the acceptance of homosexuals. God says very strongly and pointedly that this is an ABOMINATION to God.

The idea that God is a Male figure is so irretationg to the Feminist and the idea the GOD made Women to be subserviant to man, because of Eve's interaction with Satan and with the eating of the Apple.

The Disobedience that Eve displayed to the Lords one and only Rule, Do not eat the forbidden fruit from the Tree. Eve's punishment was that she was to be forever under the rule of the Male. To bear children and of course "The Monthly Curse as it is known by some women, or the Blessing, depending upon your point of view.

So one again, women are disobeying the word or the laws of God!! Supporting the Homosexual Agenda, the proponents of Gay Priests, or preachers and bishops!. I wonder what their fate will be this time when the Wrath of the Lord comes upon them! Many in the Feminist MOvement deny God to begin with and theirfore do not Fear the Lord. The Homosezuals certainly do not fear the Lord.

They try to convience us that we must accept their lifestyle and that they are also God's Children. Big surprise, Many will come be few will be invited. God wept at the tremendous, uncountable numbers of souls that were reprobats, did not head the word of the Lord or keep his laws. Would not repent of their sins and beg for the love and forgiveness of God. They are now trying to get us the sinners who are doing their very best to stay in this side of the Lord to eat once again of the Forbidden Fruit and and reject the Laws of God, by accepting their way of life as normal and they as children of the Lord >>> Which They Are NOT!!

You honestly believe that women menstruate because Eve (and Adam, of course) ate the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?

p.s., Here's an extra apostrophe: '

That is why I will never trust a church body that allows women on the pulpit.

ECUSA, ELCA, Methodists, etc. all accept abortion, homosexuality, and are desperately trying to drive out Christ from Christianity. All began to accelerate down the slippery slope when they started ordaining women.

Oh baloney..is that why all the families in my Irish Catholic lines were matriarch? Give me a small break. This is soooo ignorant. My Irish Grandfathers favorite saying, "Each day I can say I am the captain of my own ship..as long as I ask my wife first."

(I had to look up nadir!)

I have no clue, but I have to tell you that every true Polish family I know is ruled, as my old Pollack Mamma once said, with an iron fist in a velvet glove. Women rule the family. Most Polish men adore their children and the idea of Family more than the idea of being king of it.

Bobcia will smack a daughter who does not treat her husband right and beat a man who will not treat her daughter well. My mother got clunked in the head with a wooden spoon for telling my dad to change a diaper.
"You ask, you don't tell," said Bobcia, "Men will NEVER do as they are told. Women will always get when they ask. If not, point him to me."

I find that it continues to my own home. I will not tell my girls nor my husband to do something. I always ask. I have yet to be disappointed. And my poor hubby with a dominating mother, is putty because I don't tell him what to do.

Isn't Poland part of the EU? If so, this may be where this government position originated from. That, and they'll try and do to the Church what the commies couldn't.

Minister for Gender Equality....hahahaha!
