A Monster Thickburger bought by a reporter Monday at a St. Louis Hardee's was presented appealingly enough, wrapped neatly in light paper and standing a whopping 2 1/2 inches tall inside a box. But the double-pattied behemoth, bought as part of combo with French fries and a drink, stretched the mouth and stomach, too much for the reporter to absorb in one sitting.

I dare you to stand up after you watch that commercial.
To: 50sDad
No way.
The people who want pot legalized are smoking pot and munching out on those burgers.

Burger Chef was the same way if I remember correctly. Horrid food. Absolutely appalling.

I love it! Not the burger, only would eat something like that about once a year, but the thumbing of the nose at the food nazis. They should have put a chocolate milkshake next to it.
To: Next_Time_NJ
Personally, I don't eat at these places. It's not food.

Absolutely...we have no details, no explanation, no proof...but WE KNOW what really happened!!! And don't bother asking for an explanation, because you'll get a "you obviously won't understand even if I told you."
But AppyPappy is cool...we just disagree about the commercial. :)

The Claimjumper restaurant chain has a similar burger.
The name of the burger is "The Widow Maker." Awesome.

Carl's Jr. owns Hardees. Oh, and it's 2/3 lbs of Angus beef. Best damn fast-food burger ever! Too bad other than the burgers everything else about Hardee's is pretty crappy!

When I lived in San Diego there were In-N-Out Burger bumpers stickers everywhere. But, for some reason the B and R kept disappearing off each side.

But don't you understand that when it comes to advertising and big business, we are unable to resist, but when it comes to hollywood and the music industry and sex and violence, it has no influence? /sarcasm

How does one explain that in the newspaper add?
To: Bluegrass Conservative
Maybe you should watch the commercial. If all you see is a woman simply riding a mechanical bull eating a burger, Hardees just wasted a few million dollars on you.
You are either being inane or you are gay.
