You've got to love these corporate names they hang on everything.
Hopefully it's nothing. DC Alert usually kicks in during thunderstorms. This woke me up!!
Keep us informed.
other end of the building, not a problem.
WTNT AM Radio News (break during Laura Ingraham show) just reported that the blue and yellow metro lines are stopped. Both of these lines go through the Pentagon.
Thanks for the update. The text message was pretty brief.
wmata.com isn't reporting any service disruptions yet...
It's worse than that. It's actually DCEMA. Everything in the government must be broken down to acronyms.
I love the Pentagon station. It's the only place I can think of where the subway ads are for military hardware.
Thanks for the heads-up. I'm glad I got through there, since I was running late this morning and I go through there every day on the Yellow line.

ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - The Pentagon Metro station is closed at this hour while authorities investigate what they're calling a "chemical incident."
Metro spokeswoman Cathy Asato says the station closed around 10:10 a.m. after people started complaining of eye irritation. Asato say it's unclear at this time what is going on.
Trains are not stopping at the station. Asato says they're being turned around at the Pentagon City and Arlington Cemetery stations.

My fiance said the Unsecured Marine corps message said some type of possible blister agent may have been released. my computer was not on, and I tried to call Fox News first and the receptionist would not put me through to the assingment desk. I filed a complaint. Then called CNN and they said they did not have the news.
WTOP is reporting that Metro closed the Pentagon Metro Station after several people in the station complained of eye irritation.
