Though Election Day was almost one month ago and Sen. John Kerry conceded the presidential race, his campaign is still not giving up in Ohio, the state which gave President Bush enough electoral votes for re-election.
Kerry's campaign is looking to join a legal battle over the state's impending recount, and has asked an Ohio judge for permission to join two third-party candidates in the process.

2006 & 2008 are going to be landslides for the GOP if the Dims keep this up. Maybe Hillbillary should've really supported Kerry, so she could get on the Supreme Court. I don't see her in the White House the way things are going! LOL

By what margin does a Republican candidate now have to win by to not have their victory called into question? Even in Florida where Bush won by 5% I see claims from left wingers believing carry really won. Unfortunately the only way to discourage this is either to tighten up the rules for recounts or demand recounts when Democrats narrowly win. Lacking any hard evidence of fraud, any margin over 1% should not be subject to a recount.

"In America, it is vital that every vote count, and that every vote be counted," he said. "But the outcome should be decided by voters, not a protracted legal process. I would not give up this fight if there was a chance that we would prevail.
Ok John, I demand a recount in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania!

Yes and today, there is a movement afoot to dispense with preciencts altogether in Florida! So, does that mean just go to any poll you wish and vote?!

These maggots are so craven in their thirst for control of American society, it's sickening. The almighty 'swing voters' ought to be paying close attention to this species of animal - they want ultimate, total, eternal control of our lives, and will do anything - regardless to the ethical or moral implications (because they have none) - in order to do it. They are The Enemy, and I consider none of them as my fellow Americans, other than the entitlements the law currently affords them. And, I do mean entitlements - the fact that they were (largely) spawned on sovereign soil is the only recognition I give them as citizens.

I'm sure that's why Kerry's campaign didn't spend that 15 million left over in his campaign bank account. They needed it to pay for the recount. He's making such a fool out of himself, he may lose his next bid for Senator from MA. That'll be a good thing. Then we won't have to see his face on TV again. I hope anyway. :)

People are really sick of this. Pressure has been put on Kerry from the DUmmies, and he would have been wise to ignore them.

As another FReeper so elequently put it, this gives Kerry a chance to say, "I conceded, before I unconceded."

The kerryRATs' actions are really endearing them to the electorate at large. 2006 and 2008 will be a rout!

sKerry's an idiot, he cut and ran in VN and doesn't have enough sense to go away now.
I only hope he runs again so I can help thump his sorry butt one more time.
