I humbly suggest that a few additional prayers for a safe journey might be in order?

You crack me up. You must live somewhere in the sun belt.
Snow? Not to worry. It's just another day at the office....

I remember flying out of Fairbanks Alaska in 1970 during a snow storm

After we finished boarding we had to wait while they de-iced the plane one more time

On takeoff all I could see was the snow blowing up along the window

I wasn't too happy but figured the pilot wasn't suicidal so I just sat back and tried to relax

I was living in D.C. when Air Florida Flight 90 failed to get airborne during a snowstorm and crashed into the 14th Street Bridge. Snow and ice is nothing to take lightly, especially when it comes to getting an airplane off the ground, be it a Boeing 737 (Flight 90) or a 747 (Air Force One).

Thank you very much, I will continue to pray until our President is back on U.S. soil safe and sound.

Exactly...I flew out of Grand Forks, ND many times in winter...sunny calm days above 32 degress are few and far between.

I remember landing in Barrow in a 60 mph crosswind in a 737 in the dead of Winter. It was a sailboat more than a plane, I think. Great fun.

Oh' no. Real snow!!!

Air force One is really run by first year flight students.

It's their new intern program. :)

Geesh, there are real things to worry about.

Yeah, well I remember flying into Hibbing, Minnesota on a Republic Airlines commuter plane in a sleet storm on Labor Day, 1977, with lightning on one side of the plane and blue skies on the other and when we landed the pilot put a "For Sale" sign in the cockpit window. I kid you not!

God is no respecter of persons, i.e., Mother Nature doesn't care what paint job is on the outside of the fuselage.

No problem. I'll worry for those who feel no need to, lol.

Prayers going out from Alabama. Shoot, down here if we get one inch of snow, folks start abandoning their vehicles in the middle of intersections. ;-)
