These are just the many items that were received as a part of "Operation Season's Greetings". We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for making the holidays a special time for our Troops. Thank you everyone who participated. If you were unable to do so this time around, please note that we begin "Operation Valentine's" beginning January 1st - January 21st, 2005. We will update ProudPatriots.com next week with more information on how to help. Special Thanks to the following:
Jim Robinson for supporting our efforts, and those of others, to bring some holiday cheer to our Troops.
68-69TonkinGulfYachtClub, trussell, StarCMC, tomkow6, and the rest of the Canteen for your support. Thank you trussell for getting your local schools involved. GummyIII, a Canteener, who got her entire school involved with "Operation Season's Greetings". Thank you so much for everything. Thank you to the many Veterans groups that helped us with their own holiday drives and campaigns. God Bless You for serving our Troops even today.
Vici Seavers, a teacher in Sasabe Arizona, for getting her school in Arizona to contribute. Her K-8 school has 26 students and 2 teachers. God Bless You!
J. Fitzgerald, a teacher in R.I., who got her entire school to help. God Bless You!
Rev. Gary Uttech & Rabbi Levi for all the inspirational words and their efforts to support our Troops.
Thank you to the Navy, Marine, and Air Force Commands that helped us itemize and box up all the items. We are grateful for your services to this country and to your fellow servicemembers.
And, Jay--Thanks for putting up with Ma! Hehe!
Proud Patriots Staff Proud Patriots, Inc (A Non Profit Organization)
Please remember that there are many other FReepers that are helping our Troops either individually or as groups. There are many things that you can do to help them. We are all working together to ensure they get support. God Bless everyone that is helping to do so. |

We were able to get 45 large Thanksgiving meals from Farm Fresh (www.farmfresh.com) to give out to the families. Inside the "Thanksgiving Meal Box":
14-16lb. Butterball Turkey
2 lbs of Mashed Potatoes
2 lbs of either corn or green beans
2 lbs of stuffing
2 Pies
Cranberry sauce
All the families had to put it in the oven for an hour and then they could have a nice festive meal. Many of the families chose to spice up their Turkeys to their liking. Which was very cool.
Many of these same families are probably going to need help for Christmas. Fret not Jinxie. I'm already thinking about what we can do to help without getting into financial issues doing it.
*HUGS*

Remember the Navy Chaplain that called us? He might be able to provide assistance in that area. I shall call him tomorrow to ask.

There was 5 large meals in addition that were given to the Security forces at the front gates of Langley AFB, Naval Air Station Norfolk, Ft. Monroe, and one to Portsmouth Naval Hospital. The guys and gals at the gates hardly ever get to have anything. Some of the guys were pulling an 18 hour shift to allow some of the married guys the opportunity to stay home with their families. Could MoJo say "NO" to that? I think not. Hehe!
