My daughter works in the ER. She said it was a crazy night tonight, but then there was a lull so she got off at quitting time, which is unusual; usually she ends up staying over for awhile, even on 12-hour days!

She said the security guard who took her to her car said that he predicted the lull was the quiet before the storm 'cause he just had a feeling "things are going to get crazy tonight." So she told him to drive faster and turn down his radio so they couldn't page her to come back. LOL

Anyone know if it's a full moon tonight? Too overcast here to see for sure.

Yes it is a full moon.

I had the same problem when I worked ICU. After working full bore at 90 miles an hour for a shift , it is hard to settle down.

It wasn't so bad working 8 hrs but when you work 12 , you have to get settled down so you can sleep .

Does your daughter work in a big hospital?
