Holy smokes! After the automated recount and all the "found" ballots in King County, Rossi wins it by 32 votes. It would be a Happy Thanksgiving if it was really over, but there's just no way the Dims are not going to force a manual recount of all 900,000 ballots. I'd be so happy to be wrong.

They already have "unofficial" numbers from Kitsap. Gregoire gained there too, but not enough.

I'm sure Rossi will win this one but how can they make a final call before Kitsap County has reported?

Strange. I just went there and they don't even have Kitsap on the list. They were there earlier. Now it goes from King to Kittatas.

Hummmmmmmm!

This is getting silly.

But this close, I understand the clamoring for a hand recount. On the condition that the ballots are locked away immediately, placed under armed guard, and counted by a private, impartial accounting firm. Democrats should not be allowed to breathe the same air as the people doing the recount.

"Rossi wins it by 32 votes"

The correct number is 42 votes. Every vote counts.

Gee, you don't think that the Democrats can be entrusted with such a solemn, important, civic obligation?

(Eye roll.)

There will be a lot of shuffling and manipulation of ballots by RAT counters in an attempt to knock off chads and turn this. It ain't over. That's for sure.

I wonder what was the balance of governorships in 1992.

Things really began to change dramatically in 1994.

This stinks, the Dems will steal this away. BUT, the average voter in the state is going to get even next time. This will drive up voter turn out for Republicans in the future. Our only hope is the court system, not allowing the divine intervention, changing of ballots by getting signatures after the votes are counted, and selective hand recounts. Still, living here in Washington State, this is very frustrating.

Wow. 32 votes? Really? Well, a win is a win.

Another Bush coattail victory from heavy GOP turnout to re-elect Dubya???

Happy Days!

Now, what's the total of Republican Governors in the 51 states?

I believe this makes it 31 out of 50 or 51?

42 votes. Not 32.

42.
