Marines from the 1st Marine Division shot and killed an insurgentI wish the media would call these people TERRORISTS!!!
None of this comes as a surprise. I guess we are supposed to abide by ridiculous "rules of war" while they can do anything and still be "insurgents."

Yep. Happy as well, that the powers that be are backing our young Marine friend.

Killing prone terrorist insurgents is going to become common.
There is no way to avoid this. The terrorist insurgents have not signed the Geneva Conventions, they have shown no intention to abide by such humanitarian practices, and that means that they are not to be afforded the reciprocal humane and "civilized" protections that the Geneva Conventions provide to all signatories.
When they choose to do so, we can worry about their "rights". Until then, we need to treat them as nothing more than sick animals and spies.

What? you want the Commender in Chief to come to the aid of a Marine fighting the PC police? Forget it, Bush will leave his Marine to face the PC police all by himself. Now if the Marine were an illegal alien .....

used to be common practice to put a round or two into the enemy battle dead, just to be safe. Taking prisoner's is sometime a luxury that troops under fire or otherwise engaged can not afford.

Agreed, they are terrorists. They are also insurgents.
The technical term for irregular forces engaged in a belligerancy against the sovereign power is "insurgent" and that is the term used by Central Command.
The term "terrorist" is used to describe people who randomly kill civilians to serve a political objective.
Note that this article is a Central Command release.

Do all you people want to see something interesting. Kevin sites wrote A letter to the Marines. And I don't believe A word he is saying. As A former Marine my self I am just pissed at this guy and he has heard it. I could go on and on but I have A meeting at the Veterans of Foreign Wars. But if anyone wants to read the letter it is located at WWW.Kevinsites.net under the title open letter Devil dogs of the 3.1." and maybe one of you can get on freerepublic. All I have is A web tv and I am not quite sure how to transfer these stories. Thanks for your support of this Marine.

One may cite Site as being one of the biggest a$$h---s in the Media.
To: Clive
Remember many years ago when the US attack in Grenada was so successful. The MSM was NOT notified before the attack!
If they had been, they would have been there with their cameras before the military arrived thereby making nice targets of American troops.
What's my point? KEEP THE MSM OUT OF IRAQ--THEY HAVE TOO MANY SITES.
To: Day Kay
Sikes may be embedded with the Marines, but I feel that he is BEDDED with the insurgents.
To: GOPologist
Why not just "double tap" every insurgent, like all good Infantry soldiers are taught?
