The theory of multiculturalism holds that no culture is superior to any other culture. As long as people practice tolerance, this theory goes, different cultures can live together side by side. But what if intolerance itself is part of one of the cultures?
That question has been answered for all eternity by a young citizen of Holland by the name of Mohammed Bouyeri. Bouyeri is a 26-year-old native of Holland who is of Moroccan descent. He is of the Muslim faith. The strict interpretation of that faith holds that those who say certain things that offend the faithful must be killed. So on the morning of Nov. 2, Bouyeri armed himself with a gun and a knife and set out through the streets of Amsterdam to track down a man who had said such things.

At the same time, Theo van Gogh was bicycling through the streets of that most liberal city on Earth, home to hashish houses and legalized prostitution. Van Gogh, a distant relative of the painter of that surname, is a filmmaker. One of his recent films illustrated the way in which women are treated in the Muslim world. Various imams in Holland's Muslim community had criticized the film and called for its makers to be killed.
The 26-year-old Bouyeri intercepted van Gogh along his route, the police later reported. He shot him six times. He then slit his throat, nearly beheading him. Bouyeri then used the knife to pin a note to van Gogh's chest. The note contained threats to kill several other Dutch political figures who had been critical of the Muslim community.
The assassination set off waves of violence in normally placid Holland. Mosques were firebombed. Churches were firebombed in return.

Agreed. Lest anyone wonder, European women should be reminded that under Shar'ia law, women are stoned for adultery. And, that is just the beginning of how the female is treated.
American women would do well to take notice of this as well.

Me: Potentially equally dangerous, I'll accept. More dangerous? No. When Islam becomes responsible for 100 million deaths in the space of a single century, and shows signs of becoming the dominant ideology of Europe and the U.S., infiltrating our government to it's highest levels, then we can talk about it being more dangerous. The fact is, I don't accept that Jihadist Islam is a phenomenon on it's own. I believe International Communism has adopted it as it's military arm. Jihadism would be seriously fringe if it weren't being aided and abetted by communists.

Utterly irrelevant. Communism thinks that the -State- is the higher power, and that's at least as bad, if not worse. Then again, I realize that we're dealing with propaganda that has elevated the Inquisition to an evil as bad as Communism, which killed more people in an average -week- in the 20th Century than all of the Inquisitions combined did in all their centuries of existence.

Don't worry, they aren't going to figure anything out. They've been in a war since the first Muslim infiltrated and they still haven't figured it out. The population of Europe needs to be culled, this is how Nature takes care of it.

Ive been going to Amsterdam ever summer for 8 year sand have warned my friends there many time about the moslems..Over the last few years I've seen even the most liberal of Dutchmen start to second guess the Moslem population.Maybe there is hope for Europe

Yes indeedy. I am enjoying the implosion of Old Europe on many levels. New Europe, our new allies, will not have any trouble dealing with the socialist, multi-culturalist scumbags who might show up on their doorsteps.
My point was that liberal "tolerance" is so shallow that simply labeling someone as right-wing is enough to make violence against them more acceptable.
