No way bill would take the job. It would mean he would spend more time in the same city as his wife.

Not happening.

O'Reilly knows it's a rotten idea. He wants to accomplish 2 objectives.

First is a little "ink"- a publicity stunt. See how we are discussing this "pin head" on our website?

Second is to ingratiate himself with the left. O'Reilly feels that after the election, he has to say some leftie nonsense in order to reestablish his alleged spinless credential.

None of his hi jinx will work on me. From the time Mr. O chose to insult and vilify John O' Neill and the Swifties, he is irretrievably on my media creep list.

Me too. I happen to briefly violate my No O'Reilly pledge and what do I see, but the Big Bloviated One suggesting the former Commander in Heat for Sec. of State. I quickly changed the channel and reminded myself to avoid O'Reilly forever!

What an idiot BO is!

But the two main drawbacks outweigh all other considerations. First, anybody is a fool to think they could control Clinton. The main reason is that it's political suicide to let someone that is planning to run for co-president in four years on the opposing parties ticket, to have such a highly visible position. Bush couldn't do it for that reason alone.

I heard O'Reilly say this and start yelling at the TV screen. What you state above was my first reaction. After being top dog, Klintoon would NEVER listen to Bush. He'd be basking in the national spotlight again, happier that a pig in slop, doing whatever the heck he wanted to in order to get the attention of his adoring knee-pad legions, courtesy of the media.

If you think all the backstabbing at the CIA is bad, just imagine what would be going on in the State Dept. if Klintoon took over.

On top of this, the old media would be falling all over themselves fawning over him. You'd think it was a co-presidency or something, and we know which one of the two the media would side with every time. Appointing Klintoon as SoS would actually earn Bush the "stupid" label the libs always try to attach to him. Luckily he's not. This would be a real good way for Bush to torpedo his 2nd term.

This is easily the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard O'Reilly say. What an idiot.

Bill O is quickly becoming an irrelevant clown. Some of his ideas are borderline fantasy.

The very small portion I saw of O'Reilly tonight was while I was passing through the living room. He had pat buchanan on and the two of them were expounding their crap. I was amazed that two overinflated egos like theirs could fit on one show. Fortunately buchanan was not in the studio...I can't imagine what would have happened if their heads had collided.
