On this day we Thank You Vets

for standing on the side of right.

For standing in the muddy trench

before the enemy of freedom.

For marching on the side of justice

to keep a nation free,

For standing in the line of fire,

to hold off oppression 

to hold a child not yours,

to build a school for those who have none

and to give a smile to anyone who needs one.

We Thank You Vets, for all you've done.

It's sad to admit it...but I can't bathe in an empty house. Every noise I hear makes me think someone else is in the house! I'm very freaked out like that!

When my kids were missing, I had to ask a friend to come over and just sit in the front room so I could take a shower!

When Mr.B was gone for two weeks this past summer...
and I had to take out my hearing aides to shower/bathe..
It freaked me out too...at first...
Lets's just say..I'm a Second Amendment Sister...

Worst thing I ever did, I think, was neglecting to change the channel when they showed the shower scene on a commercial for the movie (you know which movie I'm talking about!!). I will never be the same again!

I don't have any guns right now. I am afraid to own one till I have a home where I can keep them better controlled.

I just wanted to let everyone know how grateful I am for all the support you folks provided to me and my company while we were in Afghanistan. We arrived back in the US a few days ago and are outprocessing now. We are all very anxious to get home.

Thank you all for remembering those who served and are currently serving. The support means very much.
