Rock Hill, SC -- Police in Rock Hill say a student was assaulted because of who her parents voted for last week.
Police say a seventh grade girl asked a sixth grade girl at Sullivan Middle School in Rock Hill who her parents voted for.
When she said, "Bush", she was assaulted.
A teacher was also assaulted trying to stop the fight.
Police charged the girl with two counts of assault and battery and disturbing schools.
Sorry - I've been out of the loop too long (30+ years) - but remember, this fracas was between just 2 students and the teacher broke it up.
I expect the kids' opinions were backpacked from home & parents.
I was wondering the same thing. You should hear the libs here in Austin and read their hateful attacks on Republicans since the election. Those people have been fed so much garbage by the MSM and believe every bit of it, and now realize they are again in the minority. How sweet it is.
This is how far the democrat party has fallen. That a child would even think of doing something like this is a direct result of teachers failing to teach what this country is about, and it's the fault of the democrats for not stopping this kind of hatred long ago.
Hear, hear.
I agree with your analysis completely. Terrorism is on the run abroad and at home.
We are looking at a renaissance.
When she said, "Bush", she was assaulted.
I didn't know that the unions recruited seventh graders...

HIGH SCHOOL ATTACK: KERRY TAUNTS TIED TO FIGHT Wed Nov 10 2004 09:55:52 ET
Three high school students face charges for using a bat to beat another student who taunted them about being John Kerry supporters days after the contentious election.
The 17-year-old Apple Valley victim was assaulted Thursday in a Minnesota Zoo parking lot near Apple Valley's School of Environmental Studies, better known as the zoo school. Chad McKay, also 17, stood over the victim attempting to protect him.
"It's a good thing to see young people interested and excited about politics," said Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom. "It's obviously very disturbing to see this kind of violence over it."
The SAINT PAUL PIONEER PRESS reported in morning editions: The argument began earlier in the day Thursday with a discussion about candidates the minors had supported for president, Backstrom said. The two victims supported President Bush.
"We were sitting in the computer room at school, and there was kind of a political debate," said Chad McKay of Arden Hills. "Some people said only gay people vote for Bush." Chad said the victim said "only gay people would vote for Kerry because he supports gay marriage."
Backstrom said the victims then "called the other guys some names."
Chad said later in the afternoon when he and the victim were walking to their cars they heard their three senior classmates yelling at them, according to the police report.
Chad got to his car, but the three 17-year-olds attacked the victim, he said, hitting him in face, including with a baseball bat and kicking him. One boy had a padlock wrapped around his finger, Chad said.

In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Girl Assaulted At Local
School(Because Parents Voted For Bush) , gunnedah wrote:
This is what the Democrats have bred over the last four years with their
hatred for Bush and enough is enough.
The Democrat Party now operates as the old Unions and Communist
Russia, threats, intimidation and violence and if the police cant stop them it
is time for others to step in.
In my lifetime I have never seen hatred emitted from the eyes and mouth
of people like that the leadership of the Democrat Party now emits.
These people are more violent than America wants to admit and it will only
get worse if we do not take a stand.
Typing while shocked!
But NOT surprised .....
Are they kidding?

Preying on Literacy
Don't they realize that should be "Preying on Illiteracy?"
No wonder kids today don't know squat. The teachers are ignorant morons (inevitable exceptions stipulated).
I remember going around with LBJ campaign stickers when I was there. I had bought into Rev. Bill's "nucular" attack on Barry (I was young and foolish; now I'm not young anymore!) Looking back on that campaign, and the democrats' embryonic attempts to stir up hysteria about their opponents' being "trigger-happy", I can say, this does not surprise me.
Maybe it was bad grammar and spelling, and they meant to say Praying for Literacy!
Oh no no no.
I don't want to be reading this stuff. I will be 100% gray by the end of the year if I see this.
I was NOT happy at all with how my kids grammar school handled mock elections. After I heard the nonesense they were fed at the school before they were given their mock ballets, I made my kids watch Stolen Honor. My daughter (only 9) started crying watching it and cried through out the rest of the movie. My boys, 5 and 7 just stared (they watch it all the way through w/o making any comments).
I have no idea if they were too young for that. I don't know if I made a good decision having them watch that at their age. But the school should be more responsible with what they tell the kids if they want to hold these mock elections.
I don't appreciate my 5 y.o. coming home repeating crap like Bush kills people with guns.
BTTT
And the self named party of tolerance has yet again proven they don't have any tolerance for those with different political beliefs.

You just don't understand the politically correct meaning of tolerance and diversity. It means that you put up with anything they hurl your way no matter how abusive or damaging it is to you. But they only tolerate differing views if you conceal them with shameful silence or profusely apologize for differing from them when they learn your evil secrets.
But don't worry, you can get back in their good graces. If you burn an American flag, date a male co-worker, and convert to Islam, and they'll forgive you sooner or later!
