RALEIGH, N.C. -- Raleigh police have arrested a South Carolina man who lashed out at the media outside the Wake County courthouse.
After supporting his friends in court, 18-year-old Asa Collier attacked two photojournalists, damaging their equipment.
Asa Collier, 18, surrendered to authorities at 2 p.m. Tuesday. He was wanted on two counts of simple assault and two counts of damage to property.
Collier appeared at a court hearing Monday involving three people charged with causing damage to the state Republican Headquarters Building.
When asked whether he was involved with the vandalism, Collier assaulted news photographers and damaged their cameras.

These are the youth the democrats considered drafting last month. (Can you see this punk doing push-ups?)
Too much espresso, dude.
Good target, bad timing.
Guess that's a YES?
DARWIN ALERT
When asked whether he was involved with the vandalism, Collier assaulted news photographers and damaged their cameras.
The media will forgive him and understand his rage - he was showing his support for a good cause as far as they're concerned.
"He was wanted on two counts of simple assault and two counts of damage to property."
This guy is a serial simple assualter and property damager.
Something must be done!
I will guarantee you that if he met up with the DIs of C-3-1 at Ft. Campbell, KY back in Dec 1967 he would have been doing pushups and hollering out for more after they told him to "recover" Big Big Smiley :)
If this 18-year-old had gunned down his grandmother, he would have been described as a youth victimized by gun violence.
This the same guy who was trying to signal counsel to the other three inside the Courthouse? Ain't free advice special?!
I'm sure you're right... the problem would be getting them to show up.
Oh, maybe the national press -- but not the local media.
Let's just say I know a lot of these photogs (in Raleigh) -- and they don't take kindly to this.
These GOP vandals have not been held in high esteem in local newsrooms around here this week.

I'm glad there's some local media that recognizes these hooligans for what they are. The local press around here (Central Florida) would be all but celebrating them as heroes. You may recall shortly before the election that some Rat loon tried to run down Rep. Katherine Harris while she was out campaigning on a street corner. The local media all but buried the story, and when they did report it they could barely contain their self-satisfied smirks.
I have a very hard time holding anything but contempt for the mainstream media these days, and sometimes I over generalize - sorry I did that here.
No problem... it's *easy* to do.
LOL....yep.....But I'm guessing the answer to the presstitutes question was ...yes !
