Collier appeared at a court hearing Monday involving three people charged with causing damage to the state Republican Headquarters Building.

When asked whether he was involved with the vandalism, Collier assaulted news photographers and damaged their cameras.

The media will forgive him and understand his rage - he was showing his support for a good cause as far as they're concerned.

Oh, maybe the national press -- but not the local media.

Let's just say I know a lot of these photogs (in Raleigh) -- and they don't take kindly to this.

These GOP vandals have not been held in high esteem in local newsrooms around here this week.
