Blue States Buzz Over Secession

Secession, which didn't work very well when it was tried once before, is suddenly red hot in the blue states. In certain precincts, anyway. One popular map circulating on the Internet shows the 19 blue states won by Sen. John Kerry -- Washington, Oregon, California, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Maryland and the Northeastern states -- conjoined with Canada to form the "United States of Canada." The 31 red states carried by Mr. Bush are depicted as a separate nation dubbed "Jesusland."

For all the liberals' (and yes, Carole Simpson, it IS becoming a bad word, you nasty not so impartial woman) pride in their bipolar center of cultural progressivism, I have three words: THE SOUTH RULES!

On the contrary, if they move, America becomes more conservative but Canada becomes more liberal, causing trouble for Canadian conservatives.

If they secede, we can fight, take them over (and Canada as well for letting them in) and make Canada conservative along with the U.S. Not to mention all of that Canadian land that would become ours. Hey, the liberals say we like to go to war for oil, there's plenty of oil up there in northern Canada.

I was also thinking about Michigan - Detroit is the one large blue county - they make the autos but they outsource all the parts to the red counties- they would have to keep this work in-house which would drive up costs thereby no one would buy their cars - the red counties could then take over car production (like Saturn) and that would leave blue counties 100% welfare. How's that sound!

Secession is fine. We keep the military and all the military equipment. (After all, they're the ones who decided to leave.) We'll see how long it takes for them to BEG to be part of "us" again, when they are attacked by the Islamist (religion of peace) terrorists. After all, they wont have guns to defend themselves...

On another site is a better solution. Take the blue COUNTIES, because there are plenty of red counties in nominally blue states. Take the blue counties and make them liberal reservations. This takes socialistic governmental management to a new level. Al Gore (or Hillary) could be the new Blue State Commissar. They could have all the government health care they could afford.
