On another site is a better solution. Take the blue COUNTIES, because there are plenty of red counties in nominally blue states. Take the blue counties and make them liberal reservations. This takes socialistic governmental management to a new level. Al Gore (or Hillary) could be the new Blue State Commissar. They could have all the government health care they could afford.

I like that idea best. We keep the land and the lefties are left with "semi-autonomous" enclaves (e.g blue counties). They will be responsible for funding and administering their programmes! Also, to leave these enclave to find work will require a special work visa and proof of financial responsibility.

...which would not be much, since productive red county citizens would not have to contribute to it, right? How about a modification of this: Put them all on one big reservation, in their own state, perhaps Washington dribbling down into Oregon. Hillary or such could be in charge. Details would have to be worked out for those normal citizens having to move out out of said reservation, we would not want them to suffer any loss of property.
