LONDON (AFP) - US pop star Madonna made a rare foray into politics, calling for her home country to withdraw its troops from Iraq during an interview with British radio."I just don't want American troops to be in Iraq, period," she said on BBC Radio.
"My feelings are 'can we just all get out?'," said the 46-year-old star, who lives mainly in London with British film director husband Guy Ritchie, who said she believes the US-led war will not help in the fight against terrorism.

What is often overlooked when you hear such pronouncements from these "American stars" is the fact that much of their income and fame is from international sources. It is in their vested interest to go along and be responsive to international opinion.

I would say, "Shut up and sing," but I don't even like her singing. She needs to shut up and go away. What a skank.
I will say that no American LIKES having our troops in Iraq, however, to pull out now would truly leave a HUGE mess.

This a dumb blond joke she's doing....right?
We'll get the punch line tomorrow?

After 5 minutes and many tries, I could not word it in a way that would not get me banned.

Another self absorbed Hollyweird degenerate gives us her pomp and circumstance.

I thought she changed her name to Esther? that didn't last long. She should change her name to "Fester." She is a festering pustule on the butt of society. She represents all that is immoral in the world.

Shut up and sing, you skanky hag! Have you heard her latest stuff? She'd be better off just STFU. I stand corrected. Thank you for your wisdom.

I call for Madonna to shut up and use the time she uses to spew her worthless opinion on keeping her armpits shaved.

Yeah, I'm sorry to subject you to that, it is not healthy even to watch. Actually, I suppose if it is the right person it could be entertaining. It is absolutely true, that I could almost feel the blood rising as I wrote. This is just one of those things I have absolutely no patience for anymore.
You know, WE are the ones who have to make these moral choices, WE are the ones who have to soil our hands with the necessary good and evil, black and white choices.
And we all know how much THEY hate Black and White, Good and Evil. These concepts are anathema to them. To them, everything is relative, shades of grey, "nuanced".
THEY get to sit back, take the high road, and be safe and sound as a result of our having to THINK and ACT for them. If it turns out badly, all THEY waste is their worthless breath. WE live with the choices we make. We have to defend our decisions and choices.
I guess, at the heart, that is the basic difference between Liberals and Conservatives.

She is sooooo brilliant and such an intellectual, I just can't imagine why she isn't a professor at Oxford. Madonna and Babs Streisand should win the Nobel Peace Prize at least for their world leadership. sarcasm..can't ya tell
To: Old Grumpy
She's just in to the psuedo holly-weird Kaballah thing. Just hold hands and sing Kumbayah. She was flaky in the 80's and nothing has changed since.
