========= Revealed for the FIRST TIME: Titan =========

At Titan, this radar image of the surface of Saturn's moon Titan
was taken by the spacecraft Cassini at 994 miles above the surface.

Titan, in ultraviolet and infrared. Red and green colors represent infrared wavelengths
and show areas where atmospheric methane absorbs light.
These colors reveal a brighter (redder) northern hemisphere.
Blue represents ultraviolet wavelengths and shows the high atmosphere and detached hazes

Titan.

At Titan, data from the passive radiometer mode of Cassini's radar instrument overlaid
onto a visible-light image mosaic from the spacecraft's imaging science subsystem.
The contours and colors show Titan's radiation at microwave wavelengths (about two centimeters),
while the light and dark shading is from the optical image.
This microwave radiation comes directly from Titan itself,
rather than being a reflection from the Sun as detected in visible-light images.

-----------------------
Thank you, America for re-electing President Bush.
America has a very smart and wise majority.

Thank you FReepers for the comments, and Leni for the super great poem.

Oh, yeah!

He's right.

Something tells me in about six months or so we are going to have to conduct mop up work in Syria, where these "terrorist looking" dudes peering into Iraq and did not look too happy about things:

Goodness. It's amazing what human ingenuity, skilled and passionate military, and my tax dollars can bring about. Killing people is stepping into sacred territory; may the Lord bless those who are determined to protect us normal people....

It looks like an "airborne" model 60mm mortar, no tripod, and they aren't bothering to aim, just chucking rounds over the next building or two. Won't hurt anything that way, but these are not rocket scientists.

I've been wanting to say something about the Iraqi soldiers. This is all totally new to them! Being trained (by the best) and learning to operate as a team. The chaff will be separated out in time, but many of these guys are grateful for the chance they've been given. Most of them are as gung ho as any defender. They want their country back, and they will GET it!

Sending prayers up for ALL the good guys!

Thanks for the look into hell.

This city is a 1 story shit hole that
should be bulldozed into the earth.

Look at the brick work. What kind of
weapon can level this city?

Loser is not in our dictionary .....

(unless we are talking about the BIG loser--i.e. John Kerry, so arrogant he is talking about running in 2008. Looks like we have more work to do with the Swifties-BIG SIGH! They deserve some peace)

I know that these people are really, really, stupid, but even though it's hard to get through thick, it has to be demoralizing for these terrorists to see all their carefully laid booby traps and snares blown to bits before they ever even see their first marine.
