Why? I am providing you the exact answer you deserved for a weak argument against a liberal, you are the one in the dark.

Earlier today someone posted a map of the united states that was painted with a flag, except for the counties that voted for Kerry. Anyone know what that thread was named. I wanted to show it to my Dad, but I forgot to ping it. Help?

The liberal said that 48 percent of the NATION wanted Kerry to win. And that is false, as I observed. I have not heard a Republican contend that a little over half of the NATION was for Bush. What is weak about that?

Guam voted for Bush. I don't know why they vote on President when their votes have no value toward the outcome.

the weak part of your argument is saying 144,000,000 didnt vote for Kerry, when compared to the 140,000,000 who didnt vote for Bush they seem in comparison in significant.

I hate being the devils advocate, but that also means 140 million Americans didn't want Bush either.
I see where you're going with this, but I disagree with the conclusion... NOT voting AT ALL equals a vote for the status quo... Bush is the status quo...
It also doesn't take into account the number of eligible voters - many are children, immigrants, felons or otherwise disqualified residents

California now has bush with 4,684,313 votes...That puts him over the top... 60 million
To: Defendingliberty
Now California has him with 4,808,607 - http://vote2004.ss.ca.gov/Returns/pres/00.htm
So he's definitely over the mark.
60 million means nothing more than being able to say Bush gained 10 million more votes than in 2000. Not bad for being a "divisive president". If he gets to 61 million, he'll beat Reagan's increase in votes in his re-election.

----They still counting votes in Oregan It down to 51-48 for Kerry, less than 80,000 votes.----
I thought W had a ghost of a chance in Oregon to begin with . . .
