That's a shame, even if she did behave abominably. Hopefully, it's early enough that she'll have a good prognosis.

Poor woman. I hope Freepers behave themselves and show some respect for the sick.

This is so much beyond partisan rancor. My prayers will be with her and Senator Edwards. May this crisis bring them closer to your Son.

Sorry to hear that. As long as they got it early, she should be okay. Evidently she put the test off until after the vote.

Hoping that they caught it in a very early stage. Prayers for her and her family.

That's sad. When he said "she is the love of my life" in the way he said it yesterday, I was wondering if something more was up. Not that it is an unusual thing to say, but there was something in the way he said it and the KIND of eye contact he made with her. It was sympathetic. Maybe I am wrong, but I bet they didn't just find out today.
I don't like her politically, but I wish her a speedy recovery. Hopefully she can find a doctor that is not too upset over the high cost of his malpractice insurance.

If I were a doctor, I'd be frightened to treat the wife of a guy who sues doctors for a living.
But maybe that's just me.
