The Centers for Disease Control's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report for October 29, 2004, describes a rare homosexually-transmitted venereal disease that may soon come to the United States.
The disease is called Lymphogranuloma Venereum (LGV), a variant of Chlamydia and it is spreading in the Netherlands, Belgium, France and Sweden. The disease rarely occurs in the U.S. or other industrialized nations.
The CDC report noted that the Netherlands had only experienced an average of five cases of LGV a year but in 17 months preceding September, 2004, the nation had tracked 92 cases of LGV. Sixty-two of these cases occured in 2004. Of these 62 cases, researchers found that they had participated in casual sex gatherings (S&M leather parties) as well as unprotected anal intercourse, including fisting during the 12 months prior to the onset of symptoms.
In a related story, AIDSMap has reported that one out of five homosexual males in Chicago has syphillis due to oral sex. The Chicago Department of Public Health announced this in late October.
When compared with heterosexual males and females, homosexual men were between 3.8-4.3 times more likely to report only oral sex during the time of infection.
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that as a response to this new public health threat from homosexual sodomy, the state is now distributing 2.1 million condoms, including 360,000 of them that are flavored. The condoms will have orange, lemon, grape and cherry flavors.

Part of the new health care plans should be to protect care givers by specially identifying, where possible, the records on homosexuals. Precautions during procedures goes without saying, but lab workers and others handling bodily fluids and materials should be made especially aware. This should be as routine as flagging Asian patients and other immigrants for possible Hepatitis A.

So, another disease that is completely preventable is about to run rampant through the world population, a gift from “Old Europe”. And in Chicago, 20% of the homo population has syphillis, also completely preventable. So, what do we do about it? We give them flavored condoms!!!!
It this saying that 20% of Chicago homos have syphillis? I doubt that is true. Or is it that 20% of Chomos who have syphillis got it from oral sex?

These are hardly exclusively homosexual activities. I'd be interested to know how many strictly heterosexual people were and will be infected this way.
