A clearly unhappy Katie, still dressed in black, asked "the Dem Party was organized, the base energized, and W had low approval ratings. Why couldn't this be translated into victory? There must have been some problems in strategy."

It is really simple. There was a Tsunami of loyal Americans who came out in droves to defend their country ...

There is a disconnect in large parts of the country with the Dem party. Dems have to find words, language to speak to people of faith."

In other, they need to spread BIGGER lies so that maybe the sheeple will follow them.

"He actually divided the country by governing from 'the far right.' Why should people trust him this time?"

Uhhh... Matt!!!

Dubya won 51% of the popular vote.

That means more people voted for him than didn't, in case you are from Rio Linda and don't understand what an election is.

By definition, Matt, most people already trust him.

Evan Thomas was also on Imus this morning. He spent several minutes talking about how "high maintenance" Teresa is and the fact that many on the campaign thought of her as a "pain in the...neck." He said it was always about Teresa and people became bored out of their minds listening to her droning monologues.

I have maintained for a while on these boards that Kerry lost the red states fer sure when the lucky old bimbo gave that prime time speech at the demonrat convention.

Rendell: "This is not a time for hand wringing and soul searching. If not for 9/11 and Iraq we'd be talking about Pres. Kerry."

Were it not for the overriding issue in this campaign, where your candidate was exposed as fatally flawed, you'd have been just fine.

Sheesh. That isn't even good spin.

I'm sorry, but I believe would still be a Republican today (A Specter type of Republican nonetheless) if she could revive her first husband.

My problem with her were numerous, but I always thought she would dump Kerry if there were a way to get Senator Heinz back.

Has anybody seen numbers on how Vietnam era vets voted?

Don't think the MSM wants to talk about that number.

The Today show reminds me of one of my fsvorite Perry Mason quotes - "Incompetent, irrelevant and immaterial !"

Yeah, Katie, that's it!

It was the strategy!

Please, please, please, keep your ideas, and shout them out louder and even louder next time!

That'll do the trick!

And they blame the loss on Tereza?
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Those liberals, always looking for a scapegoat.

She didn't help with some of her gaffes but she wasn't the main problem.
The person they chose as their nominee was the main problem.

Thanks for doing this. We'll miss you, so you have a really wonderful trip and hurry back.

Just to check the wardrobe, I clicked on the muted NBC and noticed that even Katie's KNEES were covered in black nylons.....hahaha. *still dancing the victory dance*

Laura Ingraham said she was invited to appear on Today today and kept asking the caller "Are you sure?" because Katie definitely does not want Laura there. Oh yes Oh yes.....then an early call this morning said the invitation was cancelled. LOL!

That's the rumor about her at the concession speech anyway.

I am shocked to learn the media
(at least Newsweak's) were not
delighted with Mrs. Heinz-Kerry.

Maybe their dislike for her, accounts
for so many of the "lovely" photos we've
all enjoyed so much?

To: Behind Liberal Lines; Miss Marple; an amused spectator; netmilsmom; Diogenesis; YaYa123; MEG33; ...

In response to the outpouring of interest in these Today Show threads, particularly over the last few weeks, I've just created a blog entitled, naturally enough, CouricWatch:

http://couricwatch.blogspot.com/

The goal is to reach out to folks beyond our sphere at FR who might be interested in learning and commenting on the liberal doings at The Today Show.

I'll be posting over there my FR posts, and possibly be including some original material.

Please have a look, and if you'd like, pass it along to friends and family.

Thanks and Regards,

Governs

PS: I'm a total blogging newbie, so if experienced bloggers out there have suggestions or comments, I'd be grateful to receive them.
