NOW.....I'm smiling. John-John have both had their last moment in the spotlight. In about 30 minutes, I know that we'll all be smiling bigger than we have in months and months!
The secret service won't have to continue to shadow these two - will they??!!!

Wellllll, I'm no expert on media relations. My only experience was carrying a few paper routes as a young lad, but, seems to me that John/John could have done a lot better in this election if they would have been able to get the mainstream media in their corner.

My favorite laugh of Kerry's speech was when he said that he knew what our struggles were now that he's visited our communities. I'm still trying to figure that one out while rejoicing that it's over and Bush will be giving his acceptance shortly! :)
I'm not sure how long I'll be around this afternoon. I'm just getting home, and am thinking that staying up until 5 this morning was a bad idea!

I had the same thought about the SS ... bet the guys on the Kerry detail will be glad for a new assignment ... one where their charge won't swear at them and blame them when he falls down on the ski slope ... )

I wanted that map to be all red, but I'll make up for it with a couple of glasses of red at dinner tonight. I am one happy FReeper.

Right! I hate to think what it would have been like withOUT the media backing us the way they did - suppressing any bad news 'against' us, touting Bush's many achievements and heroic TANG service every time they mentioned his name, and padding the polls in our favor, etc. Without their help, who knows what the outcome of this election would have been.

My heart just swelled with pride when they all walked on that stage a few minutes ago. All those American flags waving, too.
Yeah, kerry knows all about the 'little people' - wait, I'm sorry - the middle class' struggles, etc. Barf!

That map makes me smile
(as if I wasn't smiling enough already)
Although New Jersey went to skerry,
my county & most of the others around where I live voted for the President.
I have hope that we'll vote in a Pubbie for Gov. next year.
(thanks for the ping)

I have a question
I was off from work today and yesterday, as a matter of fact, to,orrow will be my first day back to work since last Thursday.
OI was having stomach troubles and went to my doctor about it.
But I did manage to go out and vote yesterday! No stomache ache or cold was gonna keep me from voting for GWB! :O)
Anyway, I don't have to tell you about having to work with a bunch if liberals who I'm sure supported Kerry.
Goodness knows! I've whined enought about it!
Now that the election is history and DA MAN is DA WINNAH!
How can I approach my coworkers, who will be in such a funk and try not to rub it in.
I want to be considerate but I also want to be al;lowed to enjoy President Bush's victory!
How can I do this?
Remember I have to work with these people.

Just smile and be gracious.
Think of how Laura Bush would act, and then do that!!
I promise, it will make interacting with sore losers much more comfortable, plus it's the right thing to do.
To: Darksheare
Sounds like a good idea, thanks, Darks! :)
