My puppy crapped a q-tip. One of my cats once got into the Christmas wrap supplies, swallowed pieces from several differently colored thin ribbon spools, and subsequently horked up a beautifully "gift-wrapped" hairball. True story.

I named my daughter after a Barry Manilow song, "Mandy"... OK, I know this sounds sorta far fetched, but true. The song "Mandy" was written for a guy named Randy Redmer, who was Barry's boyfriend in those days. However, the name was changed for obvious reasons.

OK, I've never confessed this to anyone, not even my wife. The first election I voted in, back in '72, I actually voted for McGovern. I wisened up a couple of years later and have not voted Rat since. (You know the saying about if you're 20 and conservative you've got no heart, and if you're 40 and liberal you've got no brains).
