George Soros is taking his money off Kerry and putting it on Bush.

I've been watching this and don't know what you're talking about. Bush lost a few points in the last couple of hours and now he is beginning to gain some back.

If Bush is up 3 points in the NYT poll tonight and the internals look so devasating for Kerry, I'd say we're gonna see a 3-5 point surge for the President by Tuesday.
Tell me where I'm wrong!

I don't care why. I just want it to follow through on the day.
We'll work out why on Wednesday.

My guess: someone decided to trade on inside information, like a private campaign poll.
At the time of this post, this graph shows the jump rather well.

I have been wondering if Soros has been manipulating these election polls like Tradesport -- I think we have our answer -- he doesn't want to lose any more money!
To: TFine80
At the same time that Ohio jumped up to around 58 - 60, Winconsin within the past hour has dropped to well below 50, to around 44 - 47. I don't know why in either case, as the latest polls were released hours ago. But on the bright side, if President Bush win in Ohio he doesn't need Wisconsin.

I don't think you're wrong. The more one looks at the internals on the other thread I posted, the more one is convinced tonight Gallup is almost certainly an outlier. And if the Ohio Tradesports number has jumped, I wager that OH is certainly in the bag for Bush - no matter what Gallup says to the contrary.

One more day of what? Inane threads describing every single Tradesports hiccup in an easily manipulated market?

I can't find any news. If anything it should be down because of Gallup. Looks like pretty low volume though.

The pollsters tried to influence the election and finally have given up.
