We want to take him out with a method that at least leaves enough phyisical evidence to confirm he is actually dead. We don't want another 3+ years of Elvis Bin Laden speculation.

If Fox only has Debka as a source, it is committing suicide as a news org.

It wasn't Fox, it was Loftus. He just threw it in there are a "breaking" news item.

Why would Bin Laden be travelling in a convoy of 10 black SUVs? Shouldn't he be keeping a low profile?

The FBI can now be legally involved in overseas investigations, if they involve international terrorist suspects. Cross your fingers!

"he that he may have been spotted after he produced the video"

I agree that it makes sense that he would have started moving immediately after making the tape and before it was aired but I think he would be travelling more incognito. A caravan of 10 vans seems like it would stand out like a sore thumb in that part of the world. They may have sent out several dummy convoys to distract any possible tracking.

This is a law enforcement problem!

Pardon me, you're right of course. I momentarily forgot that we live in an age of international understanding and cooperation where everyone's a victim. Tell you what, send a team of America's best trial lawyers over there, and when they get in the car with their new celebrity client, we can launch the cruise missle. Two problems solved.

Of course, if the Indians arrest him or take him out, then that could be another matter.

Or simply give them the credit (or the Pakis) and demonstrate that we do, indeed, have allies in the world. Would Sen. Kerry like to also insult the country approaching the largest population in the world?

The Fox announcer made the comment that we had no available drones for this little exercise, "all were deployed to Iraq". Unbelievable, but he said it.
