Thinking back, I may have it a little wrong. When Aziz flushed himself out we bombed his location. He was actually captured a little later. The part about the disinfo and his press conference is correct.
I remember that... I couldn't believe it when I heard he'd defected, and then the moment he came out and said he was still in Iraq, BAM!
