Fox News at the moment is reporting that Indian Intelligence has spotted Bin Laden convoy.
How many times have we heard stories like this?
I really don't see OBL traveling is such a conspicuous convoy. It may be a dummy convoy to throw off those looking for him.
Or, this could all be nothing.
Loftus and lately Bill Gertz have lost all credibility with me. They have spewed out all kinds of things...none of which have come to pass. It might as well be coming from the Weekly World News...or the New York Times.

No, no, no! This is a law enforcement problem! Bin Laden is simply a nuisance. Read him his rights, handcuff him gently, and escort him to the back of the squad car, helping him bend his enormous head so his turban doesn't get bumped by the squad car roof. Then get him a good lawyer, and release him after bail. Overstated threats never hurt anyone.
The convoy was 10 vehicles. Would just one of these take them all out? I don't know the explosive power of a Hellfire. I like the A-10 idea myself. No missiles, just a couple of good strafing runs so there is a lot of identifiable biological material, albeit dead biological material.
Dems would wail with all kinds of conspiracy theories and would never accept Bush as a legitimate president, but I think it *would* help Bush and seal up the election.
I was hoping that if we found Bin Laden right before the election that we would be so ahead in the polls that we wouldn't even need that boost. Then Bush could then keep it quiet for a few days, and announce the Bin Laden capture at his victory speech, and he'd look magnanimous for holding the information until after the election. Unfortunately, this election is down to the wire.
Hold On I ciphered this thru. This is a Kerry camp story.
Bin Laden spotted and "George is to busy with Iraq to be able to respond". Plays right into Kerry's position and therefore was started by him.
Believe none of what you hear and less of what you see this week.

He's saying there is a rogue element in the intelligence service (Pakistan and Iranian) that is helping Bin Laden. Winter home and summer home.

Thanks Yaelle!. They say Kerry looks like some part of a horse, so I say " Save the horse ride a cowboy".
If it was true, the only plausible explanation would be that when he made the video tape, he blew his cover, or hiding place, and now is being tracked.
I'd love to get OBL, but I'd hate for Teresa and Maddie to be able to say "I told you so", LOL!
Of course, if the Indians arrest him or take him out, then that could be another matter.

I agree with you, but what has some credence is that he that he may have been spotted after he produced the video. It makes sense that intelligence sources would be looking for a suspicious convoy at this time. It may not pan out, but who knows.
