Former CBSNEWS anchorman Walter Cronkite believes Bush adviser Karl Rove is possibly behind the new Bin Laden tape.
Cronkite made the startling comments late Friday during an interview on CNN.
Cronkite said he is "inclined to think that Karl Rove, the political manager at the White House, who is a very clever man, he probably set up bin Laden to this thing."
Interviewer Larry King did not ask Cronkite to elaborate on the provocative election eve accusation.

That causes increased fear of Rove and baits kerry to make an
ad about it. Then OBL releases another tape wearing a Bears
jersey mumbling something about "lambert field".
Cronkite goes back on CNN to endorse Ralph Nader.
Hellary and Bubba exchange congratulatory emails as they dont
see each other in person any more.

On Thursday October 28th COngressman Jim McDermott, Washington State, said the same thing almost.
On KIRO Radio's Mike Webb Show he said that he thought the Bush Administration and the CIA were behind the little Johnny Taliban tape, the one that said our streets would "run with blood".

I was wondering what was taking them so long to come out with this. Guess they restrained themselves for (barely) 24 hours but then they just couldn't hold it in any more.
Does this mean that Walter no longer believes that Bush has bin Laden tied up in the basement of the White House?
