Agreed. If Kerry's second-guessing about Tora Bora and ammo dump security worked for him, he'd already be ahead on the national security issue. This latest tape just highlight how in sync the Left is with our most hated enemy. It brings the focus back to Bush's best issue, and though Kerry may have been able to make a dent in Bush's lead on this topic, it's still not his turf.

Dick Morris told O'Reilly last night that Lurch made a mistake by focusing on national security in the closing days. I think that's right on.

I am just not certain that we can cast such a wide net over the entire electorate. I have alot of friends who feel differently. They bought the 9/11 hearing fiasco, i.e. the comm. to blame 9/11 on Bush, hook line and sinker. They bought the Iraq was a diversion line too. I have done my best (just got off of the phone with one of them) to convince them otherwise, but have been unable to do so.
