I am just not certain that we can cast such a wide net over the entire electorate. I have alot of friends who feel differently. They bought the 9/11 hearing fiasco, i.e. the comm. to blame 9/11 on Bush, hook line and sinker. They bought the Iraq was a diversion line too. I have done my best (just got off of the phone with one of them) to convince them otherwise, but have been unable to do so.

I just printed out the OBL transcript. One of my favorite things he says is that we don't have "good manners."

I agree. We're talking about 50%, though. I think the terror issue strongly favors the President.

I like Dennis Miller's take:

"George Bush wakes up in the morning, his feet hit the floor, he scratches his balls, and says 'Let's go kill some f**king terrorists'. That's the kind of President I want"

I think a majority of Americans will agree.
