I think there is an easy answer to the fact that the Major did not see the seals. Don't forget that both the 3rd infantry division and 101st airborne had been through this area and had probably broken the seals to take a look. Alternatively, Saddam's men broke the seals and went inside or tried to. The seals are really a non-issue.

Then you should see the inevitable. Kerry has based his ENTIRE final week on this story and conflicting stories makes voters decide which story is credible. The MSM story or our military. That one is easy for the voter - the military.
As an aside, I am normally the pessimistic one on campaign staffs BUT this is a clear win for Bush.

I guess you are right, but I can't help being nervous that there is still some bad stuff coming for Bush. I am curious about where the Octobers surprises are that Karl Rove promised when he was talking to Hannity.

Kerry's position seems to be that he will only wage war under the following circumstances:
1. He has the permission of "allies" not currently in the coalition, but he refuses to name who these mystery countries are.
2. He will only wage war if it can be done to perfection. No insurgents, no deaths, no missing explosives.
He has plans for all of this of course.
At some point the public just turned their ears off.
The media. as usual is playing the gotcha game, and I don't think it is as relevant and as weighty as some believe it is.
