The US military has reported the destruction of 400,000 tons of munitions yet there is a firestorm over 300....wonder why?
1/1000th of the munitions destroyed so far... much more to go... an even smaller fraction of the total munitions in Iraq.

You've nailed it. The point was, they had people in there to search for these kinds of weapons. They had ABSOLUTELY THE RIGHT PEOPLE looking for and removing munitions from the site.
You don't just miss 380 tons of high explosives because it's tucked in a dark corner.
