No, there's no flip-flop when you simply say you aren't sure what the whole story is, as opposed to sKerry definitively stating that it was gross negligence, based on little info, and incomplete and/or distorted stories. The administration hasn't flip-flopped, it's still asserting that the story is not fully known yet. But all this new evidence simply shows that the admin. had a plan, we were guarding the caches, and that we were actively working to destroy them. It also is still pretty plain that the HMX/RDX were, by all evidence, most likely gone when our troops arrived at al qaqaa. This ain't rocket surgery, folks.
The story by the MSM will be, "The Major could not confirm that any of the 200 he removed was poart of the IAEA list." Therefore, it doesn't matter at all what he said...
But it was 1/1000th of the munitions that were located and destroyed. This is madness! I think it is incredible that this is all that is missing and that our military has done an awesome job! And, it shows that there WERE orders to guard and destroy the weapons and so any further attack from Kerry on this issue will look like an attack on the brave soldiers doing the work.

they care about this alleged specific quantity BECAUSE it was the STORY.
If they cared about the overall situation of explosives in Iraq, some reporter could have done an exhaustive study of the situation between Apr. 03 and last week sometime . . .
If they cared about the overall situation, they would be interested in knowing what has been destroyed, etc. They don't WANT to know that this alleged specific quantity has been destroyed, IMO.
IOW, they WANT it to have been looted and in the hands of terrorists! Sheesh! Anything to get Kerry elected . . .
No it does not. The US military was in the process of cleaning out this facility. Remember, before this Pentagon briefing, The MSM implied that nothing was being done. That was the point of the briefing. If the Major came out and said yes we remove RSX, the MSM would demand proof. The major was creditable to me.

He basically says he has no idea whether the video shows anything about the explosives in question. May or may not be.
That's the point.. nobody knows.. not even Kerry... so why is Kerry going around spreading lies and baseless info?
