Bomb-Gate(Ammogate) NY Times Iraqi arms story based on a false letter! (HERE WE GO AGAIN!)
National Review ^ | Cliff May

Posted on 10/26/2004 7:15:43 AM PDT by The G Man

This is a post by NR writer Cliff May on their "Corner" blog at NRO:

~~~~~~~~~~
BOMB-GATE [Cliff May]
Sent to me by a source in the government:
“The Iraqi explosives story is a fraud. These weapons were not there when US troops went to this site in 2003. The IAEA and its head, the anti-American Mohammed El Baradei, leaked a false letter on this issue to the media to embarrass the Bush administration. The US is trying to deny El Baradei a second term and we have been on his case for missing the Libyan nuclear weapons program and for weakness on the Iranian nuclear weapons program.”
(For the record, I don’t reveal my sources so if that means I end up sharing a cell at Sing-sing with Judy Miller, so be it.) Posted at 10:00 AM
No problem and I agree that they are not friends of America. They are bending a free press to their twisted rendition.
QAAQAAGATE
This is good, and readers may not know how to pronounce it.
How about: CACAGATE. or POOPGATE, or SLIMEGATE?
Apparently Wall Street agreed with most of us at Free Republic, and across the board most indexes had a good day.
Hopefully this was their October surprise and it has exploded all over them like 100 #'s of BS crammed into a 10 # bag.
I like to think of it as Elliot "Spithead" Spitzer recovery day since oil closed at it's highest level ever and that didn't even phase today's market!!!
Hmmm, actually ... "false letter" doesn't necessarilly mean a forgery I suppose.
No, no, no! As Gunga Dan explained to us all, it's not a "forgery". It's a "recreation".
Here's what I mean't in #212, above
NEW YORK (CBS.MW) -- Encouraged that problems in the insurance industry might not be as serious as previously thought, investors snapped up stocks Tuesday, leading to a triple-digit gain for blue chips.
HOW MUCH YOU WANNA BET THAT SPITZER STOPS HIS MUSIC AFTER TODAY???
Spitball has some impact, but the biggest negative impact happens when there is an act of terrorism, new fear of terrorist acts or the possibility of the latest attack on GW like the one by the NY Slimes gets traction.
We blew the tracks of the Pretty Pink Tank of the NY Slimes, and it is dead on the beach.
I like the term QAQAA-GATE since thats exactly what it was...
Qa-Qaa, flung at Dubya on election-week, hoping it would stick!
Voters should serve up some QaQaa-on-a-shingle to to Kerry on election day!
