The NY TIMES has attempted to pull an October surprise with an apparent fabricated story that was even shopped to 60 MINUTES.
A huge cache of very serious weapons, about 380 tons of HMX and RDX, were supposedly lost because U.S. troops did not guard them. It is, of course, more evidence that George Bush is an incompetent commander in chief and must go.
Unfortunately for the Old Gray Lady, now seemingly to be closer to yellow for its yellow journalism, Jim Miklaszewski of NBC reported the truth in April of 2003 --- the weapons were gone before U.S. troops got to the weapons depot.
John Forbes Kerry, a traitor to this nation in the Vietnam era and an unthinkable commander in chief, used the phony info on the campaign stump yesterday.
If you would like to call the NY TIMES ---
Listen to the prompts and get to the news desk (I think one of the buttons was for international news)
(212) 556-1234
Good idea to also call the NY Daily News at 212-210-2100, ask for the Washington news desk then for James Gordon Meeks..he wrote a story titles "Bushies guilty of big bang snafu in Iraq".
This is clearly Kerry's and the DNC's attempt at an October surpise story and the MSM are set to play it up big no matter what the facts are. It is equivalent to the 2000s DUI news dump within the last week before that election. DEMS keep with the same script. Have to hit the MSM hard to get them off their set plan toi aid Kerry this way. I am sure the news stories were written a few weeks ago and are set to run this week no matter what.
It keeps Bush on the denfense and attnetion off kerry's negatives even if in the end the story is finally show to be a non-starter. That is what the DEMS what the last week.
Of course if it opens up the fact that Syria got Saddam's WMDs and or their components, that is thin ice for the RATS and the UN.
would someone remove the Troll please
I sent them a scathing e-mail last night.
This was their reply:

I loved the part about "when referring to a specific article please include its date, section and headline." As if they don't know which article I was referring to. Sheesh!
Seems that Jayson Blair must have contributed to this NYT story with his "fact finding".
The facts that are surfacing about the story are imploding it.
(212) 556-1234 ?
Like that?
or
(212) 556-1234 ?
Like that?
Call NOW! They are on the Ropes as I made four calls demanding a retraction!
See post #50!
bttt
NEVERMIND!
At about 9:00 am on FOX, a blonde female reporter traveling with Kerry reported the first NYT story then clearly reported on the NBC story which contradicts it. She made it perfectly clear that the weapons were gone when the coalition got there.
I am also ticked at Fox News for the way they are reporting this explosives story, considering that everyone now knows that the NYTimes initial story was bogus (as usual).
Fox News SHOULD be leading today's newscast along the lines of "Embedded reporters who accompanied US soldiers during the Iraq liberation have confirmed that explosives the NYTimes yesterday claimed are missing were in fact removed from that facility before US forces even arrived in that country."
Instead, even Fox News is being deceptive in how they are parroting what the partisan media reported in the first place.
How frustrating is that?
I called and talk to the man who answered. I told him I think NYT should retract their story about the missing WMD in Iraq. I told him I thought NBC had already covered the story quite nicely. The man said "That's your opinion, thank you."
ESPECIALLY over the next week you will read all the news their editors want you to ! they will worry about retractions and accuracy later.
G*d willing, come 11/3 the huge loser of this year's election is the MSM/
NYT "poppsed" this story arly only because 60 Minutes couldn't get a production ready quickly enough to run this coming SUNDAY, OCTOBER 31 ... TWO DAYS BEFORE THE ELECTION.
Media bias ???? nah
Good work..se we got them on the ropes as they are completely frustrated.
