I'll confess I'm someone who's mood is affected by the polls. I can't help it; this is the most important election in history.
Sorry Rush, but as one of the members of the 2004 nuerousis club, I've gotta admit this makes me feel good.
Let's all get out the vote.

SWL=screaming with laughter!!! You know Bush will win Texas hands down...but the republicans have turned out in Texas in early voting in huge numbers. If that is any view of the rest of the America...Bush will have a remarkable victory!!! ;o)

Completely agreed. Yesterday's Florida whirlwind tour should wrap it up for us. Concentrate on Ohio and then maybe Florida again Monday nite. Figure already a quarter to a third of the Florida votes will already be cast by Tuesday. I sent in my absentee ballot last week.
The chances of this poll being accurate are about 1%, if that. Close to dead even.

If Bush loses Florida legitimatly, then it probably indicates a Kerry trend and you may be right. However if Bush loses Florida due to massive cheating, it is still likely he will do well in other battle ground states and win the election.
That being said, the smart money says Bush takes Florida.

The numbers look good but I will feel much better when I see the numbers in a couple of days. I'm not sure how that story on the munitions in Iraq are going to play out with the public.
