The Swift Boat Vets for Truth Need Donations. Please support them. I have made two contributions because I believe in their cause (to get the truth out about Kerry and protect our future national security).

If it's that important, wouldn't a link be appropriate?

Oh sorry,
I thought from the headline you meant cast a wager.

I'm in Ireland.

And four months ago I made three wagers with different people of my acquaintance - all of whom said Bush would never be re-elected. So I bet each of them €100.

They are all looking decidedly nervous now, as the polls (and even the liberal national broadcast commentators over here!!!) predict a Bush victory.

Me. I'm quietly confident of collecting! :-)

Furthermore, put your time where your comments are. There are campaigns all over the country that need volunteers. They need people to wave signs, make calls, knock on doors, be poll watchers, and do any number of other things between now and election day. In swing states, they need people to do these things for President Bush. In states that are certainly going one way or another, there are candidates for other offices that need the same help. In those states, the efforts of volunteers could help make the difference between the president being able to put good judges on the bench and Daschle and Clinton being able to stop good judges from being confirmed. Even if your state has no competitive races, you can swing the popular vote a little bit and gain valuable experience for other campaigns that might be close. Please, walk the talk. Volunteer!

I just sent them $250.00 of my hard earned money, and I'm sendind a copy of my reciept to the Lawrence O'Donell 'via' the Joe Scarborough Show and thank him for encouraging me to support John O'Neil and the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

John O'Neil is a great American and after George W. Bush is reelected we need to make sure the Swift Boat Veterans are given the credit they deserve in this election

That is a wonderful idea. I am going to e-mail again and tell MSNBC that I donated $200 to the SBVs (which I did) in O'Donnell's name. We owe those SBVs and awful lot. John O'Neill took a half hour of total abuse from O'Donnell.

"John O'Neil is a great American and after George W. Bush is reelected we need to make sure the Swift Boat Veterans are given the credit they deserve in this election "

Total Agreement! Any men/man with that kind of honor and courage would have my support for ANY position in public service. Of course, they/he would have my complete support, praise and respect if they/he wanted to just fade back into their/his own private life, which once again they willingly sacrificed AGAIN to save this country!

John O'Neil served this country with honor and dignity (just like all the other Swifties) and he does not deserve to be ridiculed by some smarmy punk like Lawrence O'Donnell. I watched that show and I wanted to reach through the screen and choke the life out of O'Donnell for the way he treated John O'Neil.

We have a major problem on our hands with the liberals in this country, they are not going to fade away gracefully and I hope, we as conservatives, will stand up and confront them head on. We cannot allow them to continue with their manipulation of the media and their continuous distortions of the facts in order to promote their socialist agenda.

We must continue to convince everyone we can to send letters to whoever advertises on their broadcast that we will no longer buy their products if they continue to support their networks. The Bias that Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Ted Koppel, and Tom Brokaw show everyday is obvious to any impartial observer and must be denounced once and for all.

The left in this country is no longer in power in this country, and their reaction to this reality has been very ugly. They no longer respect our legislative process, Judicial process, or even our Executive process. They have politicized all of them

On the Legislative Process: They figure whatever they can't get through the legislature, they can rely on Judicial Activism to thwart the Constitution.

On the Judicial Process: They rely on the Legislative process to confirm the judges they believe will do as they wish by applying a Litmus test to the confirmation process.

On the Executive Level: They use the legislature and the Judicial Processes to diminish the power of the executive by demanding to scrutinize the unvarnished opinions the Executive Branch requires in it's decision making process and has been guaranteed in the Constitution.

We must make this stand while we can, and after this election is over, I think we should all demand that the Congress have hearings on the influence of special interest groups have on our law makers and the entire process that decides how our tax dollars are spent. It's not to late to save this Republic if we are willing to take that stand

Just did the credit card donation, and it was painless!

As a Viet-era vet with 2 kids in the military currently, I (standing at attention and saluting smartly) thank the Swifties and former POWs for their service, then and now.

Just gave to the Swifties a fourth time.

Between the Swiftvets, and Progress for America's Voter fund (Ashley's Story), I have a feeling we're gonna be eating hot dogs for Thanksgiving, but it's totally worth it if it helps to defeat sKerry.

If the botoxed one wins, I won't have an appetite for turkey, hot dogs or anything else.
