WASHINGTON - Bill Clinton has always had a flair for political drama. Now it looks like his just-in-time recovery from heart surgery, allowing him to campaign for John Kerry in the elections closing days, may provide a jolt of excitement that any candidate would covet. Democratic strategist Donna Brazile says she started getting phone calls and e-mail as soon as word got out about Clintons planned appearance Monday with Kerry in Philadelphia, with messages like: Hes back! The Comeback Kid! She predicts a great, electrifying last week of the campaign.

It's gonna cost you John.
Playing with the Clintons?
I'd suggest you'd better fold your hand right soon.
You'd have better luck playing with a snake oil saleman.

It's been about 6 weeks since Clinton's by-pass surgery. He just got his flu shot and it takes about 2-3 weeks to build up the antibodies to protect his immune system.
My husband had bypass surgery and at six weeks he was still very weak and tired easily.
I can't believe Clinton's doctors would want him in a crowd of any size at this point in time. The flu season has already hit Pennsylvania and Kerry must really need help.
Clinton is just risking his health to be among these many people but either Clinton is missing his face on the TV or the DNC is desperate.
My husband's cardiologist told him he should avoid crowds, wash his hands often, get a pneumonia shot and eat healthy...and this is after 5 years. He is about the same age as Clinton.
Talk about a "Health Care System". But if Clinton gets sick it will be George W. Bush's fault and Clinton will receive the best health care available at any cost paid by all of us. Go Figure!

In 2002, at the last week of the race of Gov of Hawaii, the Democrat's candidate (Lt.Gov Hirono) was closing the gap against Lingle (fmr Mayor of Maui). That is, until the Dems brought a big gun name Bill Clinton. A week after the election (in which Lingle became the 1st Republican governor after 40 yrs under Dems), the Dem pollster revealed that the turning point was... when Clinton gave speech before the labor union people...

Remember these stats:
During the impeachment process, the MSM constantly told us - 75% of the American people do not want Clinton removed from office.
However, the MSM was silent ONE YEAR LATER when the very same 75% had changed their minds and now believed Clinton should have been removed.
Clinton does not help Kerry - all Clinton does is remind people of scandal after scandal after scandal we endured for 8 years.

BJ Clinton cares more about getting
Kofi Annan's job than he does about the anyway-miniscule chances of
President Hillary. Therefore, he is
solidly motivated. Now I understand the derision on this thread toward
Clinton on the stump - I think it is the same reason we Fenway bleacherites chanted
Bring on the bitch! toward
Mariano Rivera just before
Joe Torre brought him in to blow his second save in a row.
But nonetheless we need to get serious and decide what we should do about it.

This is going to get good.

I gues the dems are admitting that Kerrry can't win on his own platform. He has to have an impeached president come and rally support.

Can't Kerry stand on his own two feet to win the election?
Bringing a guy just recovering from major surgery into a room filled with thousands of people bused in doesn't seem like a healthy environment.
Then again, Kerry will do anything to become President, at anyone's expense.
I'm surprised Clinton's doctors would let him participate in such a mob scene. One flu coodie and the guys going be back in bed re cooperating from pneumonia. AND that is a life-threatening situation........Maybe Hillary made the arrangements!
