I was wondering about people's opinion of this. This election has been the nastiest I have ever seen. The hatred ginned up against the President since 2000 is scary. It is blind and senseless but nonethelss has resonated with a good many voters. Considering all the talk of the army of lawyers Kerry has stationed around the country, Kery's plan to annouce victory early, the DNC memo on Drudge for the Colorado vote and the huge number of vote fraud stories. I really beleive that if this election is litigated by the RATS in the event of a Bush win there will be violence. I pray there won't be but the anger has been stewing for a long time and seems about to come to a boil. What say you??

An armed society is a polite society.

I have thought the same thing. I think the answer is, yes indeed.

Many of these losers aka "Bush haters" have so much invested emotionally in this event. When they lose, their pathetic little lives will lose meaning. They will explode.

Soros funded riots in ex-Soviet Georgia to overturn the election. Could it happen here?

I think Soros thinks it could. I think Soros is in for a surprise.

My opinion is yes, my UAW "brothers" are vehemently attacking all that is this administration. And it is the union thugs that traditionly sponser that sort of thing.

I don't know about violence, but I think--

1. Kerry will stamp his foot and make a face;
2. Gore will slobber at the mouth and his eyes will bulge out; and
3. Clinton will smile very slyly and think of what is to come.

I agree that there will be violence if Bush wins.
The left is so full of hate and has been so worked up by their leftist demagogues that they will not be able to accept a Bush win. There will be violence in the streets if Bush wins.
In leftist philosophy, this is the destabilization of society, its eventual fall, and then Communism rushes in to take over and impose a totalitarian Paradise complete with "gay marriage", jail terms for dissidents like us, forceful redistribution of property, elimination of religion.

Short Answer: Yes.

Longer Answer: What do you think the National Guard has been stepping up Civil Disorder missions for?

Somebody ought to tell those UAW workers that as soon as Kerry closes the tax loopholes all of the foreign auto makers are going to pull their jobs out of the US... So a vote for Kerry is a vote to lose their jobs no matter what their pathetic union is telling them...

If there are no jobs what good is the union?

Will there be violence if the election goes to court?

Oh yeah. There will be isolated riots, exclusively in urban areas.

There has already been violence. But let's hope it remains as isolated incidences.

No, there'll be no after election violence. If any Bush haters get out of line we'll just kick their asses.

I'm hoping so. It's time for a cleansing. I think Jefferson may have been a little bit wrong about the blood of patriots. It should have been "those who oppose them"

I think if the election is really close - close enough to be undecided on 11/3 - people will be patient as long as the process underway seems fair. This circumstance is different than 2000 in that one of the candidates is the sitting President, which actually makes things more dicey IMO. In essence, there is no bigger wimp than a limp wristed liberal, so I don't think they will be too prone to violence when the learn the consequence. Unless Kerry unleashes 1000's of lawyers ans attempts to overturn an obvious result, I think it will pass relatively peacefully although it may be a prolonged process.

No, although a expect a number of liberals to do an imitation of the 1929 market crash by jumping out of windows.

So when walking about for a week or two following the election, keep your eyes to the skies. I don't want to hear of any Freepers squashed by flying liberals.
