Just about 30 minutes ago, I met Rob Schneider. I couldnt stay to talk to him, but he is here, acts like a normal guy and is here for the troops. Props to him.
Rob Schneider! Rob! The Robinator! Rob-o-rama! Schneid-o-matic...
Sandler's demonstration of the sleeper hold on him was a classic.
Did you ask him about the "three seashells" (one of his lines from Demolition Man)?
Stay safe!
Thanks for your service.
Props

The group will perform several shows, sign autographs, pose for photographs and visit a variety of job posts. The entertainers will provide as much one-on-one interaction as possible, boosting the morale of service men and women serving so far from home.
Newton is chairman of the USO Celebrity Circle and was recently honored with the prestigious "Spirit of the USO" award at the annual USO Gala for his life of dedication and his selfless service to military personnel around the globe. He began entertaining troops during the Vietnam War and has continued this tradition for decades. This is Newton's second trip for the troops this year and his ninth in the past three years.
Actor-comedian Rob Schneider, who is currently working on a sequel to "Deuce Bigelow," is embarking on his third USO tour. Neal McCoy, an award- winning country music star, has participated in numerous USO tours and is a strong supporter of service men and women. Myrka Dellanos has been the original co-host of Univision Network's news magazine "Primer Impacto." The McFadden Brothers, tap dancers and musicians, appear as the opening act for Wayne Newton.
This tour continues the USO/AFE tradition of bringing celebrity entertainment to the "front lines" of combat activities. Several of today's top talents have traveled into the region so far this year, including Tom Green, Henry Rollins, Toby Keith and 50 Cent and G-Unit.
For 63 years, the USO (United Service Organizations) has brought a touch of home to America's military personnel. The USO is a congressionally chartered, nonprofit organization and is not a government agency. The USO is supported by World Partners Amazon.com, AAHOA, AT&T, BAE SYSTEMS, Bass Pro Shops, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Clear Channel Worldwide, Coca-Cola, Computer Systems Center, Inc., ESPN, Lockheed Martin, Morgan Stanley, Ray-Ban, Reader's Digest, Sara Lee, S & K Sales Company, True.com, Ty Inc., USAA Foundation and The Walt Disney Company. Rob started out on Saturday Night Live playing a dorky character obsessed with coffee and making up nicknames for people that had a coffee motif, e.g., "Hey, it's the Stevester, the beanmeister coffeemeister, drinkin' the java juice." And so forth. Since then, I think he's been in movies.
Whats four more days?
He's an actor and he was on SNL for nearly a decade....
read some of these other posts...everyone is breaking out quotes and clips from him...
He seemed like a genuine guy. He wasnt playing, at least I dont think he was. He wasnt breaking out his act, he was shaking hands and chit chatting with the other soldiers....
Thanks....
He was the guy who sat in the copy machine room.
Mike, thank you for your service. This family really appreciates it.
4 more days til you go home ? If so, that's great !
until my vacation starts....
Thank you for your service Mike
Why do we always get the dumb celebrities?
Oh well. Thanks for entertaining the troops Rob, it's just sometime I wish we got ones with real talent. I mean, it would sure be nice to have a Julianne Moore or Bob Dylan on our side every now and then.
