Kenneth Campbell, a professor at the University of Delaware, has filed a libel suit against the movie's director of the film "Stolen Honor: Wounds That Never Heal" because it featured footage of him at a 1971 war protest combined with narration that claims many of the supposed veterans who took part in the event were later "discovered as frauds" who "never set foot on the battlefield, or left the comfort of the States, or even served in uniform.

Campbell claims he received the Purple Heart and eight other medals, ribbons and decorations for his service as an artillery forward observer in Vietnam in 1968 and 1969.
If he did serve in Vietnam but the narration said "many of the supposed veterans" NOT "all of the supposed veterans," how can he be suing for libel?
anyone can file suit...now lets see him win...
not gonna happen.
Just publicity its a non-starter of a lawsuit, most of the vets in the documentary wouldnt even be recognized and arent even mentioned by name.
Boo-Frickin'-Hoo! The narration says "many" not "all", thereby making this libel suit worthless.
Ever hear the term Unscrupulous Wuss?
Right. I read that too."Many" and/or "some" hardly denotes "each & every". He should seriously rethink his decision. It may cost him a lot of money in the long run,not to mention embarassment at being such a dumba$$.
"The defendants' malicious, reckless and scandalous misrepresentations and falselight presentations of Dr. Campbell were done with the specific intent to defame Dr. Campbell and place him in a false light, and with a reckless and outrageous disregard for the truth," Campbell's attorney wrote in the lawsuit.
Will a jury be dumb enough to believe the filmmakers meant to defame this nobody?
Expect to see a restraining order on Sinclair shortly.
Let him sue. The discovery process would be worth the bundle to expose these frauds.
Poly Sci International Relations, easy classes just read no need to show up..even showed his Vietnam films in class according to student...

He is not going to sue. He is just making noise because some Demwits got to him (with money or some other way) and they are using it to make the film look bad before it airs. It is all about trying to neutalize the film. Some people will see the article and say " I just knew these people were phonies". Fortunately, most will not think that way. They are just making more people anxious to see it! Way to go Demwits. Nice work.
Negative publicity, is still publicity.
