"On Line polls are completely worthless, no matter who they show is ahead."
Yeah, but it sure raises the blood pressure of a few DUer's, so they aren't completely worthless.
I recommend saying a prayer before you go there. Some threads are just pure evil.
I went back to DU again. I'm sorry!. I promise not to do it again. The language over there is filthy. I'm sure glad Jim Robinson keeps this a relatively clean site.
sKerry needs about 10 more "debates" to "win" to get back a point, bwaaaaah
I have used a Jedi Mind trick to influence the Dummies.
very interesting straw poll
s'ok... :) just sheckin'.. -- jj ~ still doing the snoopy dance regardless...
Funny, The MSNBC site still has the old Newsweek 48-48 poll as the lead story on their site. They will probably keep that one up until Kerry's twenty-state recount effort is over.
The more negative they go the worse it will get... Its voter turn off time for the dems... But we will not give up the fight... Its get out the vote Like we are Behind...
On-line ballots aren't worth the paper they are written on!
I don't get it - I would have expected Kerry to be ahead in the MSNBC poll. Am I dreaming??
This is an online poll and is meaningless, regardless of who is leading.
I am definitely not overconfident. These MSM polls are all about propaganda and generating momentum. They oversample Repubs this week so they can oversample Dims next week so they can show a trend. This race is very, very, close and Bush supporters (especially in the battleground states) need to crawl over "broken glass" to get to the polls on Nov. 2.
self ping
Usually they are worthless.
There is a local newspaper in my area (I will not name it) that has a web site with an online poll. Each week, it is about some issue and a choice of solutions - usually the Bush/GOP solution or the sKerry/Rat solution. On Sunday, they actually publish a story and tout the results of the online poll.
This poll is very easy to Freep. It does no IP address tracking and does not use cookies, so with a little work each click of the browser's refresh button results in a vote.
So each morning, I keep the Bush/GOP position hovering around 65 - 75%, and each weekend, the publish they story about the "overwhelming" support for that position. Hee, hee, hee.
I thought W didn't read the New York Times. :-)
Only go to DU if you've got a good sense of humor...the only real value in DU is the "Oh-my-God-these-people-are- idiots" laugh potential.
