True,

But interesting side note:

Bush is up BIG in new polls. Check all the MSM sites. NO mention of Bush swing.

Kerry went up 1 point in WP after debate and they made it sound like the election was over.

Don't think that they are spinning this at all. NOT GOOD for the Kerry camp.

If poll trend holds (don't look for Zog or Rass to change either way, they havne't all year) and keeps giving Bush large lead...followed with poll in OH and FL and WI showing Bush leads, I think all that hate on the left will spill over and cause mass tension headache, then they will get depressed, and they will then stay home.

They gota be dying right now though.

of coure the opposite is also true.

Yes, safe to root around - but don't stay to long. Just be prepared for the most hateful, vitriolic, violent and vicious language you have ever encountered in a supposedly civil forum. It doesnt' take long to get a feel for what and who they are. They remind of spoiled children that have never grown up. They seem to think America should operate like a large college campus so they don't have to grow up - they have never been able to separate reality from the idealism they were indoctrinated with in college. So immature it is unbelievable - and of course, anyone that doesn't agree with them is ignorant and reside on a pedastal several floors lower than their supposedly intellectual ivory towered selves. They are repugnant!!!

Yes, it seems the online polls are worthless, but this one I find interesting because at the same time their online post-debate polling has always shown Kerry beating Bush by a huge margin, so it seems strange that this same group of people reading the MSNBC site would be so strongly in support of Bush.

Why would anyone put any credence to an online poll? We here at Free Republic should know better than anyone, that the results are never reflective of legitimate opinion. They are reflective of which side can pad them the most.

It's fun for very brief surfing surveys. Be sure to don a latex glove on your mouse hand first and wash throughly afterwards..

I just got back from my first perusal of the DU site. Is there someone to offer absolution? Leading post featured Kerry's lead in Ohio and Kofi's criticism of Bush!

GREAT NEWS! THIS IS WHAT ZOGBY MEANT WHEN HE SAID KERRY HAD A GOOD DAY...

Edited on Sun Oct-17-04 08:17 PM by TruthIsAll

I calculated what the Kerry and Bush one-day poll numbers had
to be in order to come up with Zogby's three-day moving
average poll released today: Bush is leading 46-44., down
from 48-44 yesterday.

It is not obvious that Kerry made a big move in yesterday's
polling. After all, his 3-day moving average held constant at
44.

But....Kerry outpolled Bush yesterday 49.6 - 39.1!

Zogby doesn't want you to know it.

Job security.

What kind of peace do I mean? What kind of peace do we seek? Not a Pax Americana enforced on the world by American weapons of war. Not the peace of the grave or the security of the slave. I am talking about genuine peace, the kind of peace that makes life on earth worth living, the kind that enables men and nations to grow and to hope and to build a better life for their children--not merely peace for Americans but peace for all men and women--not merely peace in our time but peace for all time.- John F. Kennedy
