Four years ago, when the world was much simpler, George W. Bush sought the presidency claiming that he had "a charge to keep." Having been tempered by the most eventful and consequential four years served by any U.S. president since Franklin D. Roosevelt's third term (1941-1945), Mr. Bush has earned the right to hold firm to his charge for another term.

It's called conviction. It's called sticking. It's called guts. The challenges of these dramatic days demand an American president with guts. As Mr. Bush told his convention, "You know where I stand."
We do, and we wish we knew where John Kerry stood. To be honest, we wish John Kerry knew where John Kerry stood. The senator has been more clear about his positions lately, particularly on Iraq. But his record of vacillation cannot be overcome in a single campaign. What's more, aside from indulging in the fantasy that he can persuade the Europeans to contribute to the Iraq effort .....

I am floored. The Dallas Morning News has poked and bashed Bush for years.
For them to endorse him ?? I am speechless.
Early voting begins Monday, October 18th. I'll be there at 8 a.m. to cast my vote for Bush.
Hell is selling icecubes.
First, the Chicago Tribune. Now, the Dallas Morning News. Will wonders never cease?
I am beyond floored. Has the Dallas Morning News ever done ANYTHING but bash Bush?
Who did the Dallas Paper endorse in 2000 ?

Maybe we have a shot at carrying Texas now.
Who did the Dallas Paper endorse in 2000 ?Gore I am pretty sure. They must really dislike Kerry.
Wow! this is a shock. DMN is so darn liberal
Just remember this is Dallas. W has given a lot to this area as a business owner, the Gov., and as the President.
Just drive near Turtle Creek and Highland Park and all you see is W banners, posters in the yards.
Besides, NO way in hello would they pick a Yankee over a Texan.
Wow......
that should sew up the tight presidential race in Texas...
Maybe we have a shot at carrying Texas now.LOLOL!

Or they may be distressed by their falling sales numbers. In response, they need to pander to the many Republicans in their market.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, home to Molly Ivins endorsed "The old President Bush" today.
A back-handed slap, but that's expected from that rag.
Actually they endorsed Bush:
I wonder if I should dump my AJC (Atlanta Journal Constipation) and get a subscription to the Dallas paper... even coming a day late in the mail it might be a better read!
