Voter Fraud: I Don't Want To Be Up All Night Again!

Posted on 10/15/2004 4:25:00 PM PDT by pctech

I was listening to Fox News during Brit Hume's show (he wasn't there for some reason). They were talking about how there could be a 25% chance the election won't be decided for almost a month or even longer if the election is a real tight one and the lawsuits start flying because of "alleged" voter fraud.

All I got to say is that I don't want to be up night again like I was during the last presidential election. I assume you folks don't want to be either. I now find myself wanting to avoid the news just so I won't continually hear this kind of talk but yet it's something that is a real threat.

Besides a stiff bourbon (I don't drink alc-e-holic beverages) what are we going to do this year to make it through what could possibly be the worst election night in national history?

I'm not watching election night- or listening. I can't go through that again! It was a surreal nightmare!
I'm going to pray the rosary all day, until I go to bed. Only if it's a REAL Bush victory will my family call me.
My nerves can't take any more attempts by the Socialist Democrats to steal the White House.

There is no doubt in my mind that in an honest election President Bush would be a runaway winner.

However, since the democRAT communist party saw how close they came to stealing the 2000 election for Owlgore, and with all the talk already of voter fraud, that I truly fear for this nation! These "people" are vicious, especially now. For example, see the comments from DUmmie FUnnies. They are not so funny!

I did call but they have all the help they need here in central Indiana. Thing is, and I hate to say this, but a lot of the Republicans here don't like "new blood" because the "good ole boys" club here don't like to relinguish their power to outsiders. That may sound they are being snobs and truth to tell they are (you have to know Miami County Indiana to know what I'm talking about) so I have to find my own way to help and hopefully I will.

I think maybe I'll avoid watching any news election night, so that I can get a good night's sleep, unlike last time! I have a feeling it will be close enough that we won't know for days or weeks. Uggh!

That's what I'm afraid of myself. On the other hand, I just hope all this hupla isn't some media trick to keep everyone watching their news channel(s) just so they can keep the ratings coming in. If that's what happens I'm gonna be really mad at the likes of Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc, etc, etc.

I thought they were going to stop calling states early??

I think there is too much pressure on the networks to 'one-up' each other to keep them from calling states early.

Not to mention the pressure from the DNC to skew the reporting to influence election results.

Yeah, my poor friend threw a party in 2000 that had invites saying people could stay "until we knew who won"...
